A Little Surprise, 1998
This is the first interactive sculpture I made during college.
The instructions under the lid will lead the operator to place the magnifying glass and periscope in their respective slots, flick a switch, and toggle a small yellow handle. When looking through the periscope, the viewer will see a small golden novelty monkey figurine pleasuring itself.
